Conveyal was established in 2013 as a continuation of the OpenPlans transportation technology group. The foundation for much of Conveyal’s current work grew out of projects that began at OpenPlans, including OpenTripPlanner and experimental accessibility analysis tools. Over the years, Conveyal has honed thought projects and experimental research into mature and well-respected software used around the world.
